    The variety of shingle patterns seen on signs and exhibit buildings reflects the unique architectural style found on Chiloé Island.

    My role as interpretive planner included the following:

     

    • Researching the cultural and ecological context for the exhibit.

     

    • Developing content for signs including research, writing and photo aquisition.

     

    • Providing reference images and guidance to exhibit fabricators.

     

    • Presentations to zoo staff.
